It's a new day...It's a new life for me...

Yep, I did it. I tied the knot. Locked on the ole' ball and chain. Jumped the broom....

Anyway you put it, I am no longer single.

This has both it's advantages and disadvantages, like anything in life. It has been more difficult that I thought it would be. At the same time, it has been more amazing than I could have imagined. It's a learning process.

For instance....I now have someone else to think about. Now I know this doesn't sound too difficult...but when you are used to only having to take care of yourself, it's a big adjustment. If I don't feel like making dinner, I am not the only one who suffers. If I don't keep the house clean, I am not the only one who has to live in it.

It is worth it. Every bit. Having a partner to turn to. Someone to come home to after a hard day at work. Someone that you trust completely and know will be there for you no matter what. It's a beautiful thing. Yes, I get frustrated and annoyed with some of the changes that have come from it, but it is completely worth it.

That being said...I have never been so exhausted in my life. I feel mostly dead most of the time. But that's ok. Because I know it will get better. Once everything settles down a bit, I will be back to my old self. Only I will have someone wonderful by my side, helping to make my old self even better.

I have not had any time whatsoever to even think about this blog. But things are starting to ease up a bit, so I am back. I will also be adding a new blog...Flying Swine. For those of you who have read excerpts from my continuous work-in-progress, When Pigs Fly, you will be familiar with many of the posts. Posts from my daily life will be posted on Flying Swine, while this blog returns to what I originally planned, inspiration to help me, and all of my literary friends out there. Eventually I plan to add a photography blog...but that is quite far off at the moment,

I hope you will check out the new blog, and stick with me as I continue to update this one. I promise to post much more often. (I know, I know...You've heard that before...) Until next time, my friends.
